How do I place an order?
Please check availability via social media, or feel free to contact me directly with your date. After confirming availability, please click on "Place an Order," and provide as many details as possible (Budget, Number of Servings, Color Scheme, Theme, Time of Event, etc.
How far in advance should I place my order?
Please place your order in a timely fashion as I outsource supplies (individual cupcake boxes, cake images, flowers, etc.), and I would hate for shipping to be delayed given the current climate. In order to provide the most attention to your custom order, a minimum 2 week window is needed (from time of order to event date). Standard (no customizations needed) require 1 week notice. Rush fees will apply if these timeframes are not adhered to. Thank you for understanding.
How do I pay?
I will send you an invoice shortly from Square invoicing after the final details of your order are confirmed. A non-refundable deposit of $75 is due within 24 hours for any order over $75 is placed. All orders under $75 must be paid in full within 24 hours of booking. Any order which incurs a rush fee must be paid in full within 24 hours of receiving the quote (see above). Should the deposit/balance date pass, your order will be canceled. In order to reinstate your order, (given I am still available) a late fee of 10% of the total order will be applied.
What happens if I need to cancel my event?
While I completely understand things happen that are out of our control, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. Should the cancelation occur 2 weeks prior to the event date, please let me know. I will try my best to accomodate a transfer of funds given; however, this is not guaranteed. If I am not able to accomodate the rescheduled date, the funds paid will be forfeited or you are more than welcome to pick up the initial order at the date/time that was agreed upon.
Do you deliver or set up dessert tables?
Should you have a dessert buffet, wedding, or 2-3 tier cake, we can discuss delivery and set up fees. All other orders will require pickup in Lancaster, TX. Pickups are Mondays- Fridays after 5:30pm and Saturdays between 10am- 12pm.
Do you make gluten-free, vegan or sugar free items?
Not yet... Unfortunately, I have not catered to these requests just yet, but stay tuned. I may consider additional menu items in the future.
Can I order a 3D shaped cake or fondant toppers?
At this time, I do not offer any fondant based items. Buttercream is where it's at in The LAB!! I also offer edible images and various cake toppers & decorations. Please review Instagram and the site gallery for ideas/inspiration. If fondant is what your heart desires, I have several local referrals I can provide you.
If I send an inspirational photo, are you able to create an exact replica?
Short answer.... No! I try my best to avoid copying other artists' work; however, I will add my own creative genius to your order.
